From the villa you can walk down to local beaches in 10 mins or you can walk to Portovenere town centre with shops, very good restaurants and facilities. From the village you can do a lot of sightseeing by car or by the numerous boats that provides regular services to the Cinque Terre villages, Lerici and La Spezia.
The city of La Spezia is only 15 mins' drive, here you can find many shops, hotels and facilities including the motorway access and the railway station offering regular services to the main Italian cities. The nearest international airport is Pisa, 80 km away.
